Scenes from Maundy Thursday at Doxa Church

What a rich and sobering time of confession, assurance, and
remembrance last night. So grateful for those I got to share this
with. "O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?"

Please review the first mini-chapter of the book I've begun to write!

Chapter A.pdf Download this file

After reading, please be sure to leave your comments. I'm hoping to begin a discussion about the ideas in the chapter. This is very much a work in progress and I know it could use some heavy editing. I'm not asking you to do that! Is the content fresh? Did it or did it not make sense? What was helpful? Was anything thought provoking? Do you want to read more? Are you bored? Honesty is what I'm looking for. Thanks so much for taking the time!

I'm considering putting some of my thoughts down in book form

If you're reading this, I'd love to get your feedback on a series of micro-chapters I'm planning on writing and posting here on my blog. If things go well, maybe we could spin them into a book. I've been preaching on liminality since Lent began and have been really moved by the idea of the in-between spaces - the times and places God seems to most ready to reveal himself to his creatures.

Would you mind chiming in every now and then to interact with me around these ideas? We'll see where the journey takes us!
